Macor Substrate Machinable Ceramic Plate 

These machinable glass ceramic substrate plates feature pure white color, smooth flat surface and compact dense texture. Standard sheets can be cut directly or further machined into insulating partitions, high temperature bearing plates, sensor bases and semiconductor fixture pads.

Macor Substrate Machinable Ceramic Plate 

Machinable glass ceramic is a highly electrical insulating, heat insulating, vacuum tight composite material of glass and ceramics. It is machinable with common tungsten carbide or high speed steel cutting tools by turning, milling, drilling and sawing. Due to the machinability, customers can produce the ceramic parts in their own common workshop or laboratory, mainly for applications as electrical insulators, vacuum components, etc. Different sizes of standard length or customers' parts are available.

Mechanical property. Flexural strength exceeds 108MPa and compression strength exceeds 508MPa to endure component pressing, bolt fastening and machine vibration loads.
Electrical insulation. The permittivity ranges 6 to 7 alongside low dielectric loss for stable high temperature insulation.

Macor Substrate Machinable Ceramic Plate 

This square ceramic shim is widely used for insulation spacing supporting and positioning. It fits vacuum equipment high temperature fixtures precision electronic modules and laboratory testing instruments. Custom side length thickness and cutout features are available based on customer drawings.
