Customized AlN ceramic Plate with holes

Aluminum nitride ceramic (short name: AlN ceramic) is a high-performance inorganic non-metallic material synthesized from aluminum nitride powder (chemical formula: AlN). It is sintered under high-temperature nitrogen atmosphere to form dense polycrystalline ceramic blanks, then processed into substrates, tubes, rings, rods and other precision structural parts.

Manufacturing Process Flow for  AlN plate

1. Customer submit 2D/3D drawing, sample or dimension list  and working condition requirements

2. Technical review: structure, wall thickness, metallization, tolerance, purity grade

3. Forming: dry pressing / isostatic pressing / injection molding for complex flanged styles

4. Nitrogen atmosphere sintering at 1800–1900℃ to achieve high density

5. CNC diamond grinding, laser cutting for precision dimensional control

6. Optional metallization, plating, metal brazing assembly

7. Full inspection: dimension, thermal conductivity, dielectric strength, flatness

Characteristics of Aluminum Nitride (AlN) Ceramic

1. Ultra-high thermal conductivity 
Standard dense AlN: 170–200 W/(m·K); 5–8 times higher than 96% alumina ceramic, 

2. Well-matched coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) 
CTE (20–300℃): 4.5–5.6 ×10-6/K, close to Si, SiC, GaN semiconductor chips. 

3. Greatly relieves thermal stress and prevents cracking during thermal cycling.

4.High temperature resistance 
Continuous service temperature: ≤900 ℃ in air; up to 1800–1900 ℃ under nitrogen/vacuum inert atmosphere.
