ceramic silicon nitride washer is a high-performance advanced structural ceramic manufactured by GPSN pressureless sintering, HIP hot isostatic pressing and RBSN reaction bonded sintering. With ultra-high mechanical strength, excellent thermal stability, outstanding wear & corrosion resistance and superior electrical insulation, it is widely used in extreme high-temperature, heavy-load, friction and corrosive industrial environments where metal, alumina and zirconia cannot meet long-term service requirements.

Q1: Can silicon nitride replace zirconia or alumina ceramic washers?
A: It depends on your working condition. Si3N4 has far better thermal shock resistance and high-temperature strength than zirconia and alumina, more suitable for frequent cold-hot cycling and over 800℃ continuous working scenarios. We suggest you provide your operating temperature, load and medium for our professional material comparison suggestion.

Q2: What is the maximum service temperature in different atmosphere?
A: Continuous working temperature: ≤1200℃ in normal air atmosphere; ≤1400℃ under nitrogen/inert protective atmosphere; long-term service over 1250℃ in air will produce slow surface oxidation.
